Pennsylvania’s COVID-19 and winter utility termination moratoriums expire March 31, 2021, and at risk customers are already beginning to receive termination notices. This training will help advocates and social service providers better understand how to comprehensively address utility issues and help clients avoid termination, including accessing federal COVID-19 rental and utility assistance. We will also provide updates on recent changes to regional utility low income programing and discuss utility issues that can arise when clients change residences.

Presented by:
John Sweet, Senior Staff Attorney, Pennsylvania Utility Law Project
Elizabeth Marx, Executive Director, Pennsylvania Utility Law Project
