Recently, Federal Judge Franklin S. Van Antwerpen, who presided over many high-profile cases during his years on the bench passed away. His family directed that all donations in the Judge's memory be sent to North Penn Legal Services. The board and staff at NPLS are honored to be the recipient of Judge Van Antwerpen's friends and colleagues generosity.

HARRISBURG — As part of its desire for wider participation in the groups which provide it advice and recommendations, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is undertaking a new initiative making it easier for people to express interest in being appointed to court advisory panels.
NPLS learned this week that Pete Macky - a true colleague and friend had passed away suddently. Pete retired from NPLS in May 2016 after spending 42 years working as the Managing Attorney at our Sunbury office. Retirement did not keep Pete away from the clients and staff that he worked with each day. He continued to serve NPLS as a volunteer.
